Changelog

What we shipped, newest first.

  1. Routines, Warden and private dashboards

    • Routines: email a dashboard page to workspace members every day or week. The AI writes a short note on what moved, above the dashboard's own charts.
    • Each recipient gets only the rows they can see in Edward, and can unsubscribe in one click.
    • When a routine's data stops before the period it covers, the email says where it stops.
    • Warden checks the tables your team approved with read-only queries and emails your data team when one breaks.
    • Each dashboard can be shared with the workspace, made read-only, shared with chosen people or kept private.
    • Chats are private, and the AI's tools follow the role of the person using it.
  2. Roles and data scopes

    • Four roles per workspace: owner, admin, analyst and viewer. Viewers read dashboards without editing them.
    • Admins can limit a member to some sources, tables or rows, from a new Members section in Settings.
    • Members can create their own workspace.
  3. Salesforce, and a chat for the catalogue

    • A Salesforce connector, queried live.
    • Ask the Catalogue tab whether your data can answer a question, and it fixes descriptions and fields for you.
    • A sparkle button on every widget asks the AI to explain it.
  4. Dates by period

    • Group and filter dates by hour of day, day of week, week of year, month of year or quarter of year.
    • Switch between your workspaces from the top bar.
  5. Tabs inside dashboards, and 1 GB uploads

    • A dashboard can now hold several pages as tabs, with a dashboard picker in the menu bar.
    • File uploads accept CSV and Parquet files up to 1 GB.
    • Uploaded Parquet files are queried live, not copied.
  6. Menu bar, ⌘K and undo

    • A command palette (⌘K) that jumps to widgets, adds fields and suggests prompts.
    • Undo and redo, for your own edits and for the AI's turns.
    • Keyboard shortcuts, arrow-key selection and keyboard resizing of widgets.
    • The studio now works on smaller screens.
    • Paid plans with AI credits and top-up packs, paid through Stripe inside the app.
  7. Use Edward from Claude

    • Edward works as a Claude connector: sign in from claude.ai, the Claude apps or Claude Code and build dashboards from there.
    • Each workspace has an access level for Claude: set up data only, build dashboards, or query data.
    • Calls from Claude are rate limited and logged.
  8. Open sign-up, Google sign-in and smarter catalogues

    • Anyone can sign up, with email confirmation and self-service password reset.
    • Sign in with Google.
    • Signing out revokes the session on the server, not only in the browser.
    • The catalogue scan detects relationships between tables at the end.
    • Replace an uploaded file and its schema refreshes.
  9. Metrics across tables

    • Metric expressions can use lookup columns from related tables.
  10. File uploads and a chat-first studio

    • Drag and drop CSV or Parquet files to explore them without a database.
    • The studio opens on the chat, so the first step is a question.
  11. Security hardening

    • Rate limiting on the API.
    • Timeouts on every query against your database.
    • Error pages show a reference code instead of internal details.
